Paul Craig lost his last three fights and based on UFC Vegas 106 odds, he’ll lose to Rodolfo Bellato as well. The Scottish fighter is priced at +375, suggesting that he stands almost no chance of beating the Brazilian on May 17. However, this guy is famous for staging upsets. For example, he defeated Magomed Ankalaev at +500 a few years ago.

Can Paul Craig Make a Surprise on May 17 in Vegas?
Paul Craig is turning 38 this year, so he doesn’t have too much time left in his professional career. In fact, we could see the UFC cut him from the roster if he loses for the fourth time in a row.
He lost to Brendan Allen, Caio Borralho, and Bo Nickal in his last three fights. Before that, he won by TKO against Andre Muniz on his middleweight debut, but before that win, he suffered two back-to-back losses – to Johnny Walker and Volkan Oezdemir.
Obviously, most of his losses happened against elite opponents. Now, he’s fighting with a guy who’s been in the UFC for just about a year and a half.
Rodolfo Bellato Favored to Win His Second UFC Fight
Rodolfo Bellato is 12-2-1 with a 1-0 record in the UFC. He joined this promotion after doing great in Dana White’s Contender Series. On his promotional debut, he defeated Ihor Potieria by TKO.
This guy is a hell of a striker with incredible power in his fists, which explains why nearly two-thirds of his wins happened by KO/TKO. He’s also a hell of a wrestler, whose specialty is to take down his opponents and finish them with ground and pound.
He’s also a fine wrestler, but he’s not as dangerous in the clinch as Craig. This is why Bellato will probably look to keep a distance in this fight and deal with his opponent with striking.
Paul Craig vs. Rodolfo Bellato Prediction
Rodolfo Bellato might be a fresh face in the UFC, but he’s a former LFA champion. He’s got plenty of weapons in his arsenal, but his No.1 advantage over Paul Craig at UFC Vegas 106 is power. We think he’s going to destroy the Scotsman with his striking, possibly getting a KO/TKO win in the first round.
Pick: Rodolfo Bellato
