This time, however, they’re expected to lose, the reason being that they’re playing against the New York Red Bulls on the road.

Red Bulls Hoping to Bounce Back After a 3-0 Loss Last Week
The New York Red Bulls are 2-1-1 in the 2024 MLS, with their only loss happening in the previous round. It was a 3-0 loss to the reigning champion, Columbus Crew. The Red Bulls were horrible in that match, making only three goal attempts in total.
Their midfield just couldn’t do anything against the Crew, with Daniel Edelman being the worst player on the pitch. He even managed to pick up his second yellow card in stoppage time for which he’s going to miss the match with Inter Miami.
His absence is probably going to have an impact on the Red Bulls considering that he’s one of their most valuable players. In fact, he’s one of only two Red Bulls players who have played 360+ minutes in the 2024 MLS so far. The other one is goalkeeper Coronel Carlos.
Inter Miami Might be Without Messi Again
Lionel Messi is reportedly having problems with his thigh. It’s not a major injury, but he apparently needs to take it easy for another week or two to make sure it doesn’t bother him in the future.
He’s already missed Inter Miami’s two previous MLS games. In the first of those, the Herons lost to CF Montreal at home. In the second, they beat DC United on the road.
It was a fantastic display by practically all of Inter Miami’s men but especially forwards Luis Suarez and Leonardo Campana. Further, Inter’s goalie Drake Callender also had a great game. He did concede one goal, but overall, he was one of the best players on the pitch.
