Nevada Okays IGT’s Omni-channel PlayShot Platform

IGT’s PlayShot is hitting the stores in Nevada, and it all seems to be very promising, after the state’s authorities have given the developer a green light.

Nevada Goes Omni-channel with IGT

IGT, one of the renowned software companies in the world, has brought its omni-channel platform to the heartland of US iGaming, Nevada. As a result, IGT will be rolling out its omni-channel platform, PlayShot in the state, combining it perfectly with the already available mobile gaming platform which it launched back in 2017.

The PlayMGM mobile app has proven a large success, boosting the overall business of the MGM brand across 10 select casinos on the Strip. Back to PlayShot, the omni-channel platform basically allows gamers to play from any device and platform they would want to, using a unique account and without ever having to sacrifice gaming progress, as the omni-channel solution allows them to pause, stop, and come back whenever they wish.

The approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) comes after extensive testing conducted on MGM properties. With the latest partnership, the casino brand is also establishing itself as the exclusive partner of IGT in the stat of Nevada, although the company is seeking to expand and offer its products to as many customers as it can while upholding the industry’s standards.

IGT has also allowed MGM to benefit from another piece of promising technology, MarkSense, which will allow casino operators to asses gaming behavior, adjust and print promotions in the matter of minutes.

The news was naturally well-met by both participating parties, with IGT’s SVP for PlayShot Enrico Drago sharing his excitement about the new opportunities arising from the regulatory approval:

Gaining full regulatory approval in Nevada for IGT’s integrated PlayShot sports betting solution enables our customers throughout the state to benefit from its seamless integration of retail and mobile betting technologies in a single solution.

Mr. Drago has reaffirmed the company’s opinion that customers who reach out to IGT for the technology can see the clear benefits thereof. He also noted that IGT has now added Nevada as the fourth state where the company operates, after Misssissippi, New Jersey, and West Virginia.

IGT, naturally, doesn’t just interest itself in powering the iGaming segment. The company is partnering with one of the most famous daily fantasy sports (DFS) bookmakers in the world, DraftKings, for a newly-announced launch in Misssissippi.

IGT has definitely not been sitting idly and waiting for regulatory approvals to pioneer brave new concepts and break the mold of the industry. A recently announce Wide Area Project is part of the many innovative goods that the software developers wants to bring to the market, offering its clients a distinct edge over the competition.

It has not all been smooth sailing for the operator either, with the prices dropping a bit earlier in 2018, but IGT has continued to pursue its course of excellence, bringing fresh innovate on the market an winning customers by dint of the cutting-edge solutions it has to offer.

Nevada’s regulatory approval was a formality, but one that will nonetheless allow the company to expand at a rapid clip.
