The Colorado Lottery is now waiting on a lucky player to claim their seven-figure win. One anonymous player was able to secure a $3,071,569 payout, but their name remains unknown, as no one has stepped forward to take the money home.
Winner Still Hasn’t Stepped Forward
There are some details about the win, though, such as the fact that whoever won bought their ticket to Conifer. The winning numbers are also known, naturally – 7, 15, 28, 30, and 31, and the lottery has put the cash value of the win at $1,535,798.
As is customary, the winning party or parties will have 180 days to claim the jackpot. The lottery also encourages players to use the Colorado Lotto+ Jackpot to have the Colorado Lottery Prize Claim Form ready, as well as a photo ID and a Social Security Number.
Earlier this year, another big-time winner managed to scoop a significant prize – a $12.4 million prize from the Colorado Lotto+ game. The win has not been claimed as of the time of writing this.
Unclaimed rewards are pretty common in the United States’ lottery games, with many people playing out of habit and not realizing that they had won, leading to hundreds of millions of dollars forfeited in Colorado and beyond.
