Skill games have been a nice change from the usual land-based gameplay, which revolves around traditional slot games. Yet, the skill game market has been picking up steam, and nothing exemplifies this better than the recently announced partnership between Light & Wonder and Betson Enterprises.

Fourth Market for the Two Partners

The partnership will allow the prominent developer to introduce six skill games specifically to local players in the Cornhusker State.

Commenting on the opportunity to expand both in Nebraska, as well as into the skill game market, Light & Wonder Chief Commercial Officer, Gaming – Brian Pierce – had this to add:

“We are thrilled to bring our player-favorite games to the Husker state. Working alongside Betson Enterprises allows us to continue entering new markets with our innovative game content to create the best gaming experiences for new customers.”

As to the games themselves, Light & Wonder has a rich and proud lineage of running exceptional games in the segment. Among the games that are now introduced to Nebraska are Gold Fish Feeding Time, Treasure, Bier Haus, Lock It Up, Dragon Fire, and Zeus.

Naturally, the games will be available through Light & Wonder’s Kascada duel screen cabinet. Importantly, this is not the first time that the two companies have worked together. Betson Enterprises has actually already teamed up with Light & Wonder in the past.

Previously, the companies collaborated on similar launches in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Illinois, and Nebraska marks their fourth market together, with more future expansions planned.

Boosting the Entertainment Options in the Cornhusker State

The news was welcomed by Betson Gaming president Todd Cravens, who simply said: We are proud to represent Light & Wonder in the Illinois, Pennsylvania and Georgia gaming terminal and skill markets and we eagerly look forward to bringing our sales, streamlined service and data-driven insight to Nebraska customers.”

Light & Wonder has also steered clear of legal challenges regarding its skill game machines, making it an outlier and turning the vertical into a strong future source of revenue.
