Irish Player Wins $9.37M in Saturday Drawing, Still to Claim Prize

A player in Ireland has won the top prize from the Saturday night drawing and is now set to claim the eye-watering $9.37 million (EUR 8.22 million)

The person, whoever they may be, is the fourth winner so far in 2026, the National Lottery confirmed, with the organization set to release further information in the coming days, including where the ticket was purchased.

The person won by correctly marking down all winning numbers on their ticket, including 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46 and the bonus – 37, resulting in the seven-figure prize. The lottery urged players to make sure they double-check their tickets and see if they haven’t won the grand prize themselves.

“Someone in Ireland is now holding a ticket worth an incredible $9.37 million. With a jackpot-winning ticket now out there somewhere in Ireland, we’re encouraging players who bought a ticket for Saturday night’s draw to check it carefully,” said National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer. 

But this wasn’t the end of the good news. Three players were also able to secure the Match 5 plus Bonus prizes worth $101,982 (EUR 89,430). The players, said Darragh, bought their tickets in Clare, Mayo and Dublin, urging everyone on the lookout to see if they haven’t secured – if not the grand prize – then at least one of the three smaller but still significant rewards. 

The three smaller tickets that won were bought using the Quick Pick option, which allows players to randomize their ticket numbers and not spend time agonizing over numerology.
