ICE Barcelona has cemented itself as one of the top gaming exhibitions in the world, providing companies with a platform to showcase their new products and technologies. As the anticipation for next year’s edition of the event grows high, industry stakeholders are preparing to head for Barcelona. The first step is, of course, registering for the event.
“If You’re Not There, You’ll Be the Only One“
ICE Barcelona just opened registrations on its official website, allowing gaming industry players to sign up for the highly anticipated business event. The event is set to kick off on January 18 and run through January 20. It will take place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, providing participants with three days of opportunities for networking.
As usual, the event is set to attract a variety of gaming companies, lotteries, sportsbooks, and regulators. According to ICE Barcelona’s official website, the 2027 edition of the event will feature over 300 regulatory bodies and 65,000 attendees from 179 countries.
ICE Barcelona is therefore an opportunity for the entire gaming value chain to meet in one room and decide where the industry is headed. As WorldGaming MD Stuart Hunter puts it, ICE Barcelona is all about mapping out the industry’s “direction of travel.”
Visitors can both showcase their new products and keep track of what their partners and competitors have to offer. As the industry grows ever more competitive, ICE Barcelona is the perfect opportunity for companies to familiarize themselves with the latest innovations and tease their upcoming projects.
Hall 7 Will Be the New Go-To Meeting Place for Tech and Innovation
With registration now open, Hunter teased some details about the event. He said that, following extensive consultation with industry stakeholders, his team will be opening the 17,000-square-metre Hall 7. The hall in question will house a variety of data and tech companies and will be where conversations and presentations on topics such as cybersecurity, AI, and compliance will take place.
The goal, according to Hunter, is to have the hall recognized as the “go-to” meeting place for learning about the latest technology and innovations within the gaming sector.
