The Man Grabbed the Game’s Top Prize
According to the Florida Lottery, the prize in question was won by Agustin Garcia Guerrero, 58, of Labelle. The man won the jaw-dropping sum from the lottery’s $5,000,000 CA$H MONEY scratch-off game.
The Florida Lottery noted that Guerrero visited the Lottery’s HQ in Tallahassee on December 8 to claim his prize. Officials further noted that the man opted to take the lump-sum option of $3,053,000.00 rather than the annuity.
According to the Florida Lottery’s official announcement, Guerrero purchased the winning $20 ticket from Sunshine, located at 17100 Tamiami Trail E. in Naples.
As the game’s title suggests, $5 million is the top prize players can win. At launch, $5,000,000 CA$H MONEY offered four top prizes of $5 million. The game’s total prize pool stood at $328 million, with the overall odds of winning any prize being 1 in 2.93.
Lottery officials noted that the Florida Lottery’s scratch-off games have so far awarded over $66.9 billion in prizes, created 2,350 millionaires, and generated over $20.09 for Florida’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.

In other news, a woman from Hackham in South Australia recently became the recipient of the AUD 20 million jackpot from the Australian edition of the popular Powerball game. The drawing took place on December 25, granting the winner an unforgettable present.
Speaking of Christmas miracles, a player from Arkansas just won the life-changing $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot from the American version of the game. This was one of the largest prizes ever won by a lottery player in America and was won just in time for the festivities.
