PENN Entertainment has become the latest company to adopt the CashClub Wallet technology by Everi Holdings this Monday, after the company implemented the solution at its M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, Nevada.
PENN and Everi Holdings Double Down on Frictionless Payments
This marks a broader trend in the land-based sector whereby companies that offer physical gaming and hospitality options are looking for ways to facilitate the experience and incentivize patrons to frequent their properties without the need to haul money bags.
Thanks to this new integration, the casino’s own payment solution, Penn Wallet, can offer the ability for guests to use cashless payments on the gaming floor, while retaining loyalty perks all the same.
This is not the first property where PEEN has introduced the technology either, as Everi Holdings and the firm have been working hard to expand the reach of the solution, PENN already has incorporated the CashClub Wallet solution into 22 properties across 11 jurisdictions where it has physical properties.
Commenting on this opportunity, Everi Holdings executive VP and FinTech business leader Darren Simmons had this to say:
“Self-service capabilities are increasingly favored by consumers across all of their spending experiences, and Everi is leading the way in casino player engagement by providing M Resort patrons with convenient, end-to-end mobile funding through our delivery of comprehensive, integrated solutions.”
Cashless Increasingly Available at PENN’s Casino Properties
Simmons explained that the ongoing partnership with PENN was a way to enhance the casino resort experience across the entire country. CashClub Wallet has been credited with improving customer experience in land-based gaming and hospitality properties, guaranteeing frictionless and omni-channel payment experience.
The solution already incorporates other payment sources, such as PayPal and Apple Pay, both of which are highly popular and will now be used for transacting money digitally directly at gaming floors across PENN’s properties.
