English Premier League Review Week 25

West Brom seems to be having a hard time as of late. The team met Manchester City at Etihad and lost 3-0. The team’s dismissal performance moves them down the log. In all fairness, West Brom did take on the best team in the Premier League. Besides the conceding 3 goals, West Brom’s strikers did not do much during the match. The team found it challenging to cross the halfway line. The only player from West Brom to make a slight impact on the game was Liverpool’s loanee Daniel Sturridge. When West Brom managed to get inside City’s box, Sturridge fired a shot at the goal towards the end of the match.

The man of the match undoubtedly belonged to Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne. He assisted Fernandinho to score, as well as scoring himself after back and forth passing with Raheem Sterling. After De Bruyne scored his second goal, Guardiola decided to substitute him. West Brom’s defeat against Manchester City means that the team has not won a match in the last 12 games away from home in the EPL.

The Other Results

Alexis Sanchez made his debut for United, but he did not handle the ball enough to have an effect on the score.

In other matches, Chelsea lost to Bournemouth 3-0. Arsenal struggled tremendously against Swansea and could not find its footing. Arsenal lost 3-1.
