Pakistani YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has issued a public apology following his release on bail in connection with an investigation into gambling apps and alleged money laundering. In a video uploaded to his channel, he addressed the concerns related to his arrest, explained the intentions behind his content, and apologized to viewers who may have felt harmed or misled.
Ducky Bhai Apologizes After Being Released from Jail
Ducky Bhai began by emphasizing that the video was not an attempt to defend the First Information Report filed against him. He offered a public apology to the nation, saying he was sorry if any of his content had caused harm or had a negative impact. The YouTuber stated that his aim has always been to entertain and provide fresh content.
Ducky Bhai’s arrest occurred on August 17, 2025, when NCCIA officials apprehended him at Lahore Airport, accusing him of promoting gambling apps on his YouTube channel, with the case against him having begun earlier that summer. He spent about three and a half months in jail, but was released on bail last month after the court ordered him to pay PKR 1 million (about $3,600).
Ducky Bhai Talks About His Time in Jail
Ducky Bhai reflected on the three and a half months since his arrest, expressing how unexpected the ordeal was for both him and his family. On August 16, he mentioned attending a family gathering before preparing for an international trip. However, when leaving the airport on the following day, he was arrested without warning and informed about the allegations of his involvement in gambling apps and money laundering.
He also alleged that NCCIA officials slapped him multiple times and used offensive language. Additionally, he claimed that the Additional Director called a young child and instructed them to speak harshly to him. Ducky Bhai even alleged that the officers stole his wife Aroob’s phone and threatened to file an FIR against her in an attempt to extort money for their own personal gain.
Ducky Bhai described the experience as challenging but said it has given him a new perspective on the importance of responsibility and the influence of digital content. He expressed gratitude to his supporters and affirmed his commitment to cooperating with investigators until the case is resolved.
Despite this, Ducky Bhai expressed full confidence in the court proceedings, stating that he is prepared to cooperate with the legal process and will respect the judge’s decision.
