Reasons Why Club America’s Odds Favor These Guys to Win the 2025 Clausura
Club America is the biggest, most loved, and most successful sports club in Mexico. This team has the most valuable roster in the 2025 Liga MX, worth over $100 million according to Transfermarkt.
This is a well-rounded team with amazing players in all areas on the field. Their goalkeeper Luis Malagon is the most expensive goalie in Mexico, while midfielder Alvaro Fidalgo is one of the most expensive outfielders in the league.
Still, it’s Club America’s forwards who’ve been stealing the show lately – Alex Zendejas, Brian Rodriguez, and the team captain, Henry Martin. Not only are these guys super talented but they also have plenty of experience in big games.
That’s why it’s kind of surprising that they do much, much better when playing at home than away. In fact, they’re without a single loss on home turf since February. Can Toluca Beat Club America in Ciudad de Mexico?
The last time Toluca beat Club America in the Mexican capital was back in 2018. The main reason is that America’s players are fantastic at home. Another reason is that – until the 2025 season – Toluca wasn’t really a world-beater.
