Bragg Gaming Group, a leading global B2B iGaming content and technology provider has unveiled a new appointment to its board of directors. Per the announcement, Bragg has added the experienced Holly Gagnon as the new chair of its board of directors.
Gagnon Steps in as Mazij Resigns as Chair
Gagnon was described as a seasoned gaming industry veteran who is very familiar with Bragg’s business. Having previously served as the board’s lead director she will now succeed Matevž Mazij as board chair.
In the meantime, Mazij will continue serving as the company’s chief executive officer and will retain a seat on Bragg’s board.
According to Bragg Gaming, Gagnon boasts some 30 years of industry experience and has previously held roles at a variety of casinos and gaming corporations. Her career kicked off with the opening of Foxwoods Resort and Casino and spans senior executive roles at the likes of Seneca Gaming Corporation, Chumash Enterprises, Pearl River Resort, Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts International, and Harrah’s Entertainment.
In addition to that, Gagnon is the president of HGC Hospitality Gaming Consulting. She also serves in advisory roles at several other gaming companies.
Mazij Lauded Gagnon as an “Outstanding Choice”
CEO Mazij lauded Gagnon as an “outstanding choice” for the company’s new chairperson. He elaborated that her deep understanding of the industry and profound expertise made her a perfect candidate for the role.

Mazij also commented on his exit from the position, saying that it has been a privilege to serve as chair during a transformational period for Bragg. He expressed confidence in the company’s management, saying that he trusts its members and is looking forward to continuing to drive Bragg’s strategy forward.
Mazij explained that his decision to step down as chair will allow him to truly focus on his role as CEO.
Gagnon embraced the opportunity to join Bragg’s board as chair and said that she feels honored. She praised CEO Mazij and the leadership team’s incredible job in turning the company into an industry frontrunner and said that she is excited to work with the rest of the board and management.

Bragg’s Growth Continues
In other news, Bragg recently announced the acquisition of a strategic equity stake in RapidPlay, a Brazilian game development studio. In addition to that, Bragg entered into an exclusive commercial distribution agreement with the LATAM-based provider.
A month ago, Bragg published its official financials for 2024, confirming many of the figures outlined in its previously published preliminary report.
