Can Al Ahly Upset the Odds on June 14?
Al Ahly have been doing great in 2025, winning each of their six games in the Egyptian top flight. However, these guys recently got knocked out of two cup competitions – the Egyptian Cup and the CAF Champions League.
They’re hungry for success, which is why they’re coming to America determined to get to the knockout phase of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. It won’t be easy, though, because they play in Group A, along with Inter Miami, FC Porto, and Palmeiras.
The good news for them is that this isn’t the biggest competition in the world, so other teams’ players might not be too fired up about it.
Inter Miami Expected to Take Things Seriously
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is taking place in the United States, and the first game of the tournament is played in Miami Gardens, which is practically in Inter Miami’s backyard. They’ll have their fans there to support them – they’re coming in swarms to watch Lionel Messi & other stars in action.
These guys have been doing great recently, leading the Herons to two straight wins in the last two games. They scored a total of nine goals in those matches, but they also conceded three.

Although we doubt that Inter Miami will get (too) far in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, we do think they will win the tournament opener. In fact, we think that the Herons are going to destroy Al Ahly, scoring at least three goals in the process. We’re also fairly confident that one of those goals will be the work of Lionel Messi.
