2025 Coke Zero Sugar 400 NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction

It’s time for the final race of the regular season of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, and only two spots are left for the playoffs. One of those can go to the winner of the Coke Zero Sugar 400; the other one to the highest-ranked non-winner.

But if there’s no new winner on August 23, both playoff seats will go to the drivers with the most points who are without a single win this season.

Knowing this, it’s only logical to predict that guys who are currently “on the bubble” will go all-in at Daytona – Tyler Reddick, Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, and the like.

All 2025 Coke Zero Sugar 400 Odds are +1000 or More

It seems that literally anything can happen in the final race of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series regular season. At some sportsbooks, all drivers have odds of at least +1000, suggesting that this is one of the most unpredictable races of the entire campaign.

Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano lead the way, priced at +1000 each, followed by Austin Cindric at +1100. All of those guys have already qualified for the postseason.

A man who hasn’t (yet) is Kyle Busch, who’s priced at +1600 at the moment. There are two scenarios in which he can get to the 2025 NASCAR Playoffs. The first one is to win the 2025 Coke Zero Sugar 400 race. The other one is to have more points than all other non-winners (but only if no new winner triumphs at Daytona).

A few other elite NASCAR drivers are in the same situation as Busch. Tyler Reddick is the man who currently has the most points of all non-winners. Alex Bowman is also close, and the same goes for Chris Buescher, Ryan Preece, and many others.

Who’s Done Well at Daytona Historically?

Of all the active drivers on the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series roster, there’s no one who’s won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 more than once. Among rent winners, there are two who have won this race, along with the Daytona 500 – held at the same place. Those drivers are, namely, Austin Dillon and William Byron.

Both of those have already booked their spot in the playoffs (Dillon did it last week). But which non-winners have done well on this track historically?

It’s Kyle Busch, a veteran who, despite never winning the Daytona 500 and the Coke Zero Sugar 400, has won “The Duel at Daytona” on three occasions.

2025 Coke Zero Sugar 400 Prediction

Kyle Busch is our top pick to win the 2025 Coke Zero Sugar 400 on August 23. He’s one of the best drivers of his generation, who knows how to win at Daytona, and who’s in need of his first win of the 2025 season.

Pick: Kyle Busch
