2025 British Grand Prix Formula 1 Odds, Time, and Prediction

No one has dominated this track like Lewis Hamilton, who’s racked up a record nine wins here. His last victory at Silverstone came in 2024, and while he did win one more F1 race afterward, he hasn’t claimed a single event since joining Ferrari at the start of the 2025 season.

Oddsmakers don’t think he’s gonna win on July 6 either – his British GP odds are +2500 at the moment. The focus is firmly on McLaren’s duo – Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Both have been red-hot this season, which explains why they’re priced at +165 and +175, respectively. Max Verstappen, meanwhile, sits just behind them in the pecking order at +475, hoping to silence critics after a relatively quiet first half of 2025.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri – The Home Heroes?

Lando Norris heads to his home race looking sharper than ever. He’s already won three races this season and is coming to the UK after an impressive win in Austria.

The British driver also has a very good record at Silverstone. He hasn’t won the race yet, but we did see him finish in the Top 3 in the last two years.

His McLaren colleague, Oscar Piastri is second on the list of the 2025 British GP favorites. He’s been in great form this season and with five wins, he’s sitting at the very top of the standings.

The best thing is that he’s been pretty consistent throughout the season, finishing in top 4 in every event since the season-opening race.

Can Max Verstappen Spoil the McLaren Party?

While he’s not been as dominant in 2025, Max Verstappen is still one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula 1. He’s had two wins this season and finished second in Canada. Last weekend in Austria, however, he had to retire after a crash with Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

Judging by Verstappen comments after the race, there are no hard feelings between the two of them – even though the clash was entirely Antonelli’s fault. Verstappen isn’t angry; instead, he’s motivated to bounce back and win his second British GP. The first of those wins happened in 2023, while last year, we saw him finish second, just behind Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton’s Favorite Race

It’s been a tough year for Lewis Hamilton, now in a Ferrari. He’s shown flashes of brilliance but hasn’t managed to put together a full race win.

His +2500 odds reflect the reality: this likely isn’t the fairytale return to Silverstone he’d want. Still, this is his home crowd. If there’s ever a place to silence the doubters, it’s here.

Even though he seems to be past his prime, the legendary British driver has been in decent form since joining his new team. Apart from the second race of the season – Chinese GP – where he got disqualified – he finished in the Top 10 each time.

His best finish in 2025 was the No. 4 position. This happened on two occasions, including last weekend’s race.

2025 British Grand Prix Prediction

This weekend is shaping up to be all about McLaren. This team’s drivers have pace and hunger for success. We’re betting on Lando Norris to get the job done in front of home fans.
