A lucky ticket in Ohio has been sold at a local Speedway, with the ticket worth $20, carrying a winning prize of $1,000,000.

Lottery Winner Claims Their $1M Prize Won Off $20 Scratch Ticket

The ticket for the $1,000,000 Stacked Scratch-Off game was bought by an anonymous person, who has stepped forward to claim their prize, but it is part of a larger pattern in Ohio, where big, seven-figure jackpots have continued to drop.

While the lottery did not provide any further details about the identity of the person, the winner himself offered a few comments, reflecting on his win.

“At first, he questioned whether he was dreaming or not and kept thinking: ‘Is this real?’He had won smaller prizes at this store before, but nothing quite like this,” the person said.

This story is still just one of many interesting lottery stories coming out of the Buckeye State, with a man previously winning $1,000,000 from one lottery ticket and $25,000 from a second one they bought.

Other news, though, has been less upbeat, with a mother accusing her son of “stealing” her lottery winnings. A lottery ticket that won was bought with the money that the son allegedly stole from his mom’s checking account.
